Calibration

Traceable calibration of subsea sensors in our own laboratory, from diagnosis to certificate.

We calibrate pressure, temperature and flow sensors for onshore and offshore equipment in our calibration laboratory in Guaratiba, Rio de Janeiro. Because we design and manufacture our own subsea electronics, we understand the measurement chain from the inside and treat sensor adjustment as part of the equipment engineering, not as a standalone service.

In-house lab integrated with the factory

Calibration runs in a dedicated laboratory inside our facility of more than 3,800 m2, next to the electronics and machining areas. This lets us combine calibration, electronic repair and mechanical verification in a single flow, without relying on third parties and without moving the equipment between suppliers.

Command of the measurement chain

Because we develop the electronics, firmware and acquisition software of our equipment, we know where each measurement error originates. We calibrate pressure, temperature and flow sensors by treating the sensor, signal conditioning and conversion as one system rather than separate parts.

Traceable reports

Each calibration produces a report with the measured points, the deviations found and the adjustment applied, making it possible to track instrument drift over time. This traceability gives a technical basis to plan recalibration before drift affects the operation.

Support across the equipment lifecycle

Calibration connects to BMPTECH's other capabilities: integration, maintenance, rental and field operation, including electric and hydraulic workclass ROV systems. The same team that understands the equipment on the bench follows its performance in operation.

How we work

    Receipt and initial inspection of the sensor, recording its state and arrival condition.

  2. 02

    Verification against the laboratory reference standards at the defined points for pressure, temperature or flow.

  3. 03

    Adjustment of the instrument when deviation falls outside the acceptable range, acting on signal conditioning and conversion.

  4. 04

    Final calibration and issuance of the report with measured points, deviations and adjustment applied.

  5. 05

    Return of the equipment with technical guidance and a recommended interval for the next recalibration.
