The BMPTECH Electric ROV is a remotely operated vehicle designed and built in-house, with electronic, mechanical, firmware and software engineering developed by the company. The platform has a design depth of 1,000 MSW and uses electric actuation, with an intelligent nodes system for signal distribution and control and proprietary embedded electronics.
Intervention is handled by two Reach Robotics 7-function manipulator arms. This is worth stating plainly: with the manipulators installed, the operating depth of the assembly becomes 450 MSW, which is the limit of the manipulators, not of the platform.
Beyond developing its own platforms, BMPTECH maintains, mobilizes and operates electric and hydraulic workclass ROV systems from other manufacturers, covering the equipment life cycle across onshore and offshore operations.
