Winches designed and manufactured by BMPTECH for launch and recovery (LARS) of ROVs and subsea peripherals, with an intelligent control system and remote operation.
BMPTECH develops and manufactures winches for launching and recovering ROVs, sensors and peripherals, available in aluminum versions, lighter for fast mobilization, and stainless steel, for harsh environments and greater durability. The drive uses a variable frequency drive (VFD), with an automatic Level Wind that lays the cable on the drum layer by layer through proportional speed compensation, and encoders on the drum and Level Wind that measure paid-out meters, cable position and speed in real time.
Operation is remote, via a web interface and joystick, through a network gateway that isolates the command and telemetry channels. The system includes a robust safety layer, with emergency stop, command watchdog, VFD fault detection, limit switches and redundant stop barriers, plus telemetry and event logging for field diagnosis. The firmware is updatable and the interface is multilingual (PT, EN, ES).
