Diver Electronic Bottle BGE-TMME-ST1
The electronics that ride with the diver and talk to the bell
Electronic bottle worn by the diver, powering the peripherals they carry and sending the bell the data from where they actually are.
The BGE-TMME-ST1 Electronic Bottle is worn by the diver and communicates directly with the bell bottle. It powers the camera, the light and the intercom the diver carries, and returns to the bell and the surface the depth and temperature measured at the point where the diver is working.
The integrated multiplexer gathers those peripherals onto a single link, which reduces the number of conductors in the diver umbilical and, with it, the weight and drag on the person in the water. Current monitoring supervises the draw of the set, and insulation monitoring follows the electrical integrity of the umbilical throughout the dive.
The architecture is modular. New functions go in without replacing the equipment, and that is the path along which the system is being prepared for diver vital-sign monitoring.
