Surface unit of the BMPTECH diving system, responsible for powering, connecting and supervising everything in the water.
The BUP-M150-ST1 Surface Unit is where the diving system meets the vessel or the quay. It delivers power to the bell electronic bottle, concentrates communication with every submerged device, and gives the operator a continuous read of the electrical state of the operation.
Power is redundant and filtered against electromagnetic interference. If one supply module fails, the other sustains the operation without interruption, and filtering keeps onboard electrical noise from propagating into the connected equipment. Supervision covers input and output voltages, current draw and umbilical insulation, and insulation degradation appears on screen before it interrupts the dive.
The unit carries a managed Ethernet switch and communication converters that bridge protocols, which allows subsea equipment of different origins to be integrated into the same system. The architecture is modular, and new modules go in as the operation grows, without replacing the unit.
