2000 dimmable lumens, driven from software, in a body sized for the diver
Underwater LED light of 2000 lumens with intensity adjustable from the surface software, in a 7075-T6 aluminum body sized for use by the diver.
The BLT-ME2K-001 Light delivers 2000 lumens from a body machined in 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, which combines high mechanical strength with low weight. Weight matters because the light goes into the set of a diver already carrying a helmet, an umbilical and tools.
Luminous intensity is dimmable, and the adjustment is made from software, at the surface, by the same DiveControl that drives the rest of the system. In turbid water, suspended particles return part of the light to the camera and reduce image contrast. Lowering the intensity from the surface restores contrast without requiring any action from the diver.
Communication runs over the RS-485 protocol, and the light joins the same network as the rest of the system, appearing in the software alongside the bottles, the cameras and the intercom.
